All The Ways Of Doing French Accents

One of the ways I first learned was the keyboard shortcuts on the keyboard. What you do is that you hit the numbers lock key, hold the "Alt" key and press for example 0233 and it makes the accent "é". There are many different combinations for each different accent, such as 0232 is "è".

Another way is to use the character map that comes with the computer. What the person does is that they pop up the character map and find the desired accent. Very easy as long as the person doesnt spend too much time looking for it.
First you click the Start Button go up to Programs then go to accessories, system tools and finally Character map. For example when i was looking for an accent it took me several minutes to find one accent.

A very easy one is to look up accents on Google. It's as easy as typing in "all the accents for E" and there you have it; all the accents easy as that. Depending on the user's internet connection it may take longer to search that then to be able to write it.

Although I liked these ways of doing accents, I came to a conclusion that it would be easier if I were going to be using many accents to just use my smart phone (see picture on right side). Apple's way of finding accents is that the user holds the character and a list of accents pops up. Using the smart phone is the easiest and quickest way to find accents for myself.
